Connor Court – Closure Orders Update |
||
Good morning,
At 10:25 AM today, the Partial Closure Orders (PCOs) affecting Flat 25, Flat 32, and the Communal Area of Connor Court will officially come to an end, having been in place for the maximum permitted duration of six months.
Under current legislation, PCOs and Full Closure Orders (FCOs) can be extended at three-month intervals, up to a total of six months. The orders for the above flats and communal area have now reached that limit.
In August, we successfully applied for a Full Closure Order on Flat 30. However, due to a legal debate around procedural matters, it was determined that the order would only remain valid until today. We returned to court yesterday to clarify this issue and are pleased to confirm that the Magistrate agreed with our position. As a result, a new Full Closure Order for Flat 30 has been granted, effective for three months, with the option to apply for an extension in December.
We remain committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents in Connor Court. Your continued support and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
If you witness or experience any non-emergency incidents, please report them via 101 or online at www.met.police.uk/ro/report. For emergencies, always dial 999.
